🚀 From Zero to Game Developer Hero in Two Hours? Check Out How I Did It with the Help of AI!

Miniaturka posta

Have you always looked at game developers with envy, thinking it was a profession for programmer gurus who spent years learning code? Have you always wanted to create something of your own, but the technical barrier was too great? I have news for you that will change the way you think about game development. I just created my own Android game... in less than two hours, and best of all, I don't know a single Kotlin command! You can download the game HERE, or if you don't like reading, check out my video on YouTube.

Simple idea, quick implementation

My game isn't complicated. It's a simple spaceship simulator where you control a small square and your task is to avoid asteroids. Over time, enemy ships appear and shoot at you. The longer you survive, the more points you earn.

For variety, I've added some simple power-ups:
- The green square slows down time and awards points.
- The blue ball, like a mini supernova, destroys everything on the screen!

The game has 20 levels, and each level gets increasingly difficult. Faster-falling asteroids and more enemy ships add to the excitement!

And now... real magic!

How was it possible to do this so quickly and without any programming knowledge? The answer is simple: Gemini. An artificial intelligence that became my personal programming assistant. Instead of writing code, I simply gave it commands. "Create a ship that can be moved by touch," "add falling asteroids," "create a power-up that slows down time" – and Gemini generated the finished code. My role was limited to copying and pasting pre-built blocks into Android Studio.

I spent most of my time on clarifying commands and making small corrections, not on tedious code writing!

Why is this so important?

Imagine devoting two weeks to your game instead of two hours. In that time, you could add beautiful graphics, captivating music, new bosses, and additional levels. You can create all of this with the help of other AI services that will generate graphics and sounds for you for free.

And now for the best part: simply add ads or microtransactions to your game. Once you submit it to the Google Play Store, it starts earning money for you. Whether you're working, sleeping, or on vacation, your game generates revenue.

The potential is enormous. In just two weeks a month, you can create 12 unique games in a year. Twelve sources of passive income!

The era where programming was a barrier is over. Anyone with an idea can now realize it. Passive income is within reach, and all you need is a little creativity and... artificial intelligence. What will your first project be?
